HIRE POLICY

By accessing and using the MY LITTLE SWEET TOOTH (MLST) website at www.mylittle.com.au, you are accepting and consenting to the practices in these terms of use. MLST reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.
 

LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT

These Terms of Use constitute a binding legal contract between you and MLST. These Terms of Use apply to you whether you are browsing or are a customer of MLST. The Terms of Use in force at any time are published on the Website and you will be taken to have accepted them by accessing or using the Website. If MLST develops revised terms of use, then on their publication on the Website they will supersede those they replace. If you subsequently access or use the Website, you will be taken to have accepted the revised terms of use.
 

This agreement contains all the terms and conditions regarding your hire of products from MLST. You agree that hire from our business is subject to all our website terms and conditions of use and privacy policy. You agree that you are renting products and ownership of the product always remains with MLST.
 

By communicating with the MLST team and booking an item, you agree to the following Hire Policy and Hire Terms & Conditions.
 

BOOKINGS

Please check availability of your desired item(s) by contacting the MLST team. Please make sure you have mentioned the correct item and date before you continue with the booking process, as all orders will be completed and prepared as per your communication with MLST team.
 

MLST is a Hire business, all hire stock has been previously used. Customers need to consider there may be signs of general wear, minor faults & imperfections in our items. MLST do not control the quality of the manufactures items that we purchase for you to hire and will not take responsibility for the quality in their design.

TRY ON SERVICE

Our Try on Service may not be available on all Hire stock depending on the popularity, please contact MLST at mlst@live.com.au if your wish to enquire about an item(s) that is not available. 
 

HIRE PERIODS

All our item(s) are generally a day hire or whole weekend Hire. We can offer whole week hires upon your request.
 

 *If you have hired item(s) for a whole weekend event, your item(s) must be returned to us by 12noon AEST on TUESDAY. If you have a day hire, all items(s) must be returned to us by 7pm AEST the SAME DAY or agreed time with MLST.
 

PAYMENTS

All payments are processed via cash or bank transfer, based on your preference. Bank transfers must be made minimum 3 days before pick up/delivery. You will be charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) at your time of booking. MLST reserves the right to change pricing at any time, without notice.

MLST will need to contact all customers prior to booking. MLST will send a text message before your order is due to be picked up and/or delivered. We will request a copy of your Photo Identification. This will be held as a form of security for the length of your hire & will be removed from your file once the item has been returned in good order. If the renter fails to meet this requirement MLST will consider this a breach in our T & C and reserves the right to refuse to hire the item and will consider the booking cancelled by the renter, the renter will not receive a refund to the loss of business.
 

LATE FEE’S

You must return your item(s) on Tuesday before 12 noon AEST (weekend hire) or before 7pm AEST day of your event (day hire.) Unless other arrangements have been made with the MLST team.

Late returns may attract a late fee. You will also be responsible for the hire amount if MLST are unable to send the item/items onto its next hire due to your neglect on returning your order on time. MLST reserves the right to deduct such additional late fees from the renter’s bond if provided at the time of booking, or the renter will be issued an invoice which must be paid in full within 7 days.
 

If you have returned the rental item(s) but is more than 10 days overdue, MLST will consider the rental item(s) as non-returned and reserve the right to charge the Customers the full items RRP.

If the item(s) are not returned, MLST reserves the right to issue you an invoice for an amount determined by MLST, by assessing the replaceable value considering the demand of the item(s) in the market, the availability to purchase the item(s) in the market, the pre-existing hires upcoming for the item(s), and the rental fee that the customer has already made.
 

All Invoices charged to the renter from MLST for any of the above payments, are required to be paid in full within 7 Days of being issued. Interest fees of 2% per day may occur from the day your invoice is overdue. Fail to make payment will result in legal action and/or use of third-party collection agencies.
 

UNRETURNED ITEMS

If the Customer fails to return the items(s) in the required condition, or if the item(s) is not received back by the Customer, MLST reserves the right to issue an invoice in which case you will be notified. 

If you have not returned your product within 15 days of the return date your product will be considered a non-return and you will be charged 200% of the retail value of the item(s)
 

DAMAGES

MLST thoroughly inspect all items that leave our showroom, we recommend that you also inspect your item, you must notify MLST and send through photos of any damage if noticed within 4 hours of delivery of the item, as you may be responsible for damage if we are NOT notified within this time period & sent photo evidence of the damage. Please note items may differ slightly to images on website, we do not offer refunds if you choose not to wear the items so please contact us if you have any questions prior to making your booking. 
 

MLST reserves the right to issue you an invoice if the item(s) is not returned in the same condition as it was delivered. 
 

MLST may deduct additional repair costs from this amount if any excessive damages have occurred. All item(s) are assessed by our customer service team who will make the final decision of the quality and condition of the returned item(s).
 

  • STAINING

Minor stains (such as water stains) are accepted. For severe staining (especially with fake tan, make up, mud, paint, face paint etc.) we reserve the right to charge an extra cleaning fee of minimum $20.

  • DAMAGE

If the item(s) are damaged in any way or has been returned with wear and tear, the Customer is responsible for paying a damage fee and any repair/alteration fees. The minimum Damage fee is $20. The Customer is liable to pay the loss of business fee for the following weeks the item is unavailable to be hired, if the item(s) hold a booking and cannot be supplied due to delay caused by the damage the Customer will be charged additional fees for bookings missed. 

  • LOST OR STOLEN ITEM(S)

If the item is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, whether such loss, theft, or damage is attributable to any negligence, failure, or omission of the Customer then the Customer will be liable to pay for replacement of the item. In assessing the replaceable value, MLST will consider, the demand of the item(s) in the market, the availability to purchase the item(s) in the market, the condition of the item(s).
 

If you are issued with an invoice from MLST for any of the above payments, you are required to pay the following in full within 7 Days of being issued. Fail to make payment will result in legal action and/or use of third-party collection agencies.
 

CLEANING

MLST is responsible for all cleaning of the item(s) and is included in your rental fee. Minor stains such as water stains etc are included. If any severe/heavy staining occurs, MLST reserves the right to charge the Customer (based on severity) for additional cleaning fee’s, in which case you will be notified.
 

For severe staining (especially fake tan, make up, mud, paint, face paint etc.) we reserve the right to charge an extra cleaning fee of minimum $20.
 

Under no circumstances should the Customer clean, wash or dry clean the item(s). In the case that the Customer attempts to clean the item(s), a fee may be charged.
 

REFUNDS, CHANGE OF MIND, BOOKING CANCELLATIONS & BOOKING ALTERATIONS

Please take care when choosing your item(s) and placing a Booking as MLST reserve the right to refuse any refunds or exchanges on incorrect choice of item, change of mind, including but not limited to choosing not to use an item or cancellations of bookings.
 

A Cancellation fee may apply on all cancelled bookings made by the customer. 
 

If you wish to change your booking to be shipped or request a local pick-up option this will need to be requested via mlst@live.com.au, 14 business days prior to your selected dates as additional arrangement may need to be made.  
 

MLST will not issue a refund for any sale stock, preloved item(s) that you purchase to keep.

PLEASE NOTE-

If you are requesting a change of date, MLST will try to accommodate where possible, please be aware this may not always be possible depending on selected items and time of year.

MLST reserves the right to cancel a booking at short notice. Reasons for cancellation may include (but are not limited to) an item not being available due to late return by a previous customer or damage to an item. MLST endeavour to provide as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancellation by MLST, we will offer a full refund, if payment was already made or the option to change the booking to another item.
 

SHIPPING

All item(s) are shipped Australia Wide at an additional charge, charge includes all packaging materials required and courier costs. 
 

If you live in WA and/or Rural areas, it is the customers responsibility to advise MLST customer service team at the time of booking that you may require us to post your item early to make sure you receive it on your selected delivery date.  
 

Your hire period starts from the time the courier attempted first delivery or your selected delivery date on your booking, whichever comes first, and credits will not be issued for late delivery where you have not been available to accept delivery.
 

All parcels are marked authority to leave. If you require your parcel to be signed for, you must specify this by letting the MLST team know.
 

When placing an order, you automatically give us authority to leave your parcel in a safe place. If you do not wish to grant us this authority you must clearly outline this when booking with us.
 

You understand and agree that authority to leave, gives us and/or our selected couriers permission to leave the order unattended by the front door – or, where applicable, at the reception or concierge’s desk – of the delivery address(s) without obtaining a signature confirming delivery at the delivery location.
 

In such circumstances, you understand and agree that by granting us authority to leave, we and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability for the orders delivered and left unattended, and that this responsibility and liability transfer to you on delivery.
 

MLST do not hold responsibility for any shipping delays once the third-party courier has possession of the order. If shipping delays occur and MLST is entitle to a refund, this will be passed on to the customer. We do not take responsibility for orders where an incorrect/ineligible address(s) or details have been provided, you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind and you may be liable to pay any late fees or a replacement fee if our item(s) is not returned to us.  
 

RETURNING YOUR HIRED ITEM(S)

When returning your item(s), please follow the clear steps on the Return Instructions given by the team.
 

Pick up and drop off location is in Wakeley ONLY.
 

Courier delivery and pick-up service can be arranged at an additional charge.
 

Failure to follow our clear Return Instructions provided, late fees will apply.
 

If you choose to use your own courier service to return the costume. you must provide tracking details to mlst@live.com.au or txt it to 0413 910 565. All returns must still follow our strict return instructions and be completed by the return date/time in order to avoid further charges.
 

MAIL

We will use the information from your order for communication purposes only. We do not pass on any of your detail including your email address(s) to any other companies or corporations.
 

CONSENT

By placing an order with MLST, you authorize MLST to charge your provided payment method according to the terms outlined above. This payment authorization is for the goods/services described above, for the amount indicated above only. By placing an order with us, you certify that you are an authorized user of your selected payment methods and that you will not dispute the payment with the bank; so long as the transaction corresponds to the terms indicated in this Hire Policy.
 

If MLST issue an invoice for outstanding fees, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand. If any monies payable remains unpaid by you after 7 days from the date of demand.
 

MLST reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect all amounts due from you, including but not limited to legal action and/or using third party collection agencies.
